FireSafe Plus

Picture
FireSafe PLUS provides the highest safety level of fire protection allowing a total gravity fail safe passage of escape both through and close by to the fire barrier. FireSafe PLUS is designed for all application types where a higher performance of radiation is required i.e. protecting a means of escape.

FireSafe Plus system remains hidden until required. Upon receiving a signal from the fire detection system or on loss of power the Operable Fire Barrier unwinds to its fire operational position under a gravity-controlled descent.

Split Drop:
An optional braking system is available to allow a stage descent during deployment. Partial descent to a predetermined level to permit preliminary escape and initial smoke containment, after delay the barrier descends to full operational position.
Delay on Alarm:
The system control can be programmed to allow a time delay on the alarm for a number of minutes before the barrier descends to its fire operational position.

Beam Sensor:
A beam sensor by itself can be used as either a block sensor or an override; when the fire alarm goes off and someone passes through the barrier the beam sensor can be wired to either stop the barrier in its tracks or to retract the barrier. Please note that when used in isolation the beam sensor does not trigger a sound.

Visual Alert System:
Flashing light and sirens are connected to the control panel and provide a warning when the barrier is about to descend. When the fire alarm is triggered and the fire barrier deploys the beacon will flash and a sounder alert until the signal from the alarm is lost. Please note that when used in isolation the audio visual unit does not stop the fire barrier descending or retract
